His purpose in this record is to provide to man the means of salvation in the ‘seed’ of the woman who would crush the head of the serpent in victory over sin. The material is a full consideration of the Bible from the beginning of the Old Testament to the final book of Revelation in the New Testament and demonstrates how the Bible is to be understood as a whole.
