The Vernon Christadelphian Ecclesia is pleased to provide this Bible resource to help your search for God by actual Bible study rather than traditional church teaching.

The Bible is the Word of God and the foundation upon which faith is built: “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17. All activities rely on the teachings of Jesus, and his apostles and disciples as recorded in the New Testament.

God’s creation was to allow humans to be God fearing believers and fill the earth with God’s glory (Numbers 14:21). Unfortunately, mankind fell from grace, but God provided a plan for salvation which predicted one to come who would ‘save people from their sins’ and restore the believers to God’s favor. This descendant of Adam, Abraham and David is fulfilled in Jesus of Nazareth, who is both son of man through Mary and son of God by the conception of the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus is the one who fulfills the promises to these three faithful men, and demonstrated obedience to his Fathers will. With the testimony that he never sinned, he became the offering that God required to save believers from their sins. He died upon a cross at the hands of sinful people and was laid in a tomb, but was raised to life after three days. His resurrection is proof and assurance which demonstrates the power of God, that He could and would raise the dead as He had promised. Jesus is the means by which all may be forgiven and he became ‘first fruit’ of the promised resurrection.

Our hope is in God’s promise of salvation, which scriptures declare will be fulfilled at Jesus’ return to earth when he comes to set up the Kingdom of God (Acts 1:10-11). This will be at the time appointed by God (Acts 17:31). The Bible is the only wholly inspired Word of God, and is the only record of God’s purpose. We are obliged to consider His message to us and respond in faith.

The Christadelphian’s are a world wide community without a paid ministry. We are people committed to the service of God and united by a fundamental acceptance of the Bible as God’s only revealed word. We live in hope of the promises:

1 To Adam: the promise of a seed that would destroy the power of death. Genesis 3:15
2 To Abraham: A descendant who would bring about the blessing of believers from all nations, and a promise of the land. Genesis 12:1-3,7
3 To David: The promise of a King to sit upon David’s throne. 2 Samuel 7:12-16

We welcome you to explore the scriptures with an open mind and an honest heart. Contact us if you are interested in learning more about the Bible. Your comments and questions are welcome.

About Me

My name is Bill Hlina. I am a disciple of Jesus dedicated to understanding the purpose of the God of the Bible. I accept and believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. By inspired, I mean that it is the Word of God. By infallible, I mean that it is true from Genesis to Revelation. I believe that the Earth is the reward that God has promised to men as stated in Numbers 14:21
“As truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.”
God’s glory is His character, which will be seen in Godly people. This character was manifested in Jesus Christ, who God appointed to save people from their sins. God is not willing for anyone to perish, but that they may respond to the call of the Gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.

The Work

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
